YEC provided civil and structural engineering expertise for a major overhaul of the historic Fort Point Area of Belize City. The project included upgrades to streets and drainage, augmented parking areas, and new wide sidewalks. The center piece was a make-over of historic Memorial Park, including a modern-style stage with exposed large span trusses and an extensive curved – retaining wall seating structure that incorporated an elegant memorial to Belizean war dead.  This project was performed with our partner Sumathi Courtenay and Vividarch Company.
